Twenty Minute Stories

Merry Elkins is a contributing writer to all three volumes of the Twenty-Minute Stories, a Los Angeles–based writing group centered on the discipline of the 20-minute word sprint. Her work explores love, loss, and transformation, capturing moments of change with immediacy and emotional clarity.

Late Boomers

Merry co-hosts Late Boomers with her friend Cathy Worthington, in thoughtful conversations with writers, artists, entrepreneurs, and entertainers navigating reinvention and third acts on their own terms.

Merry’s debut novel, Follow The Sky, currently in development, is about a young woman rebuilding her life from the fault line of grief. It explores the inheritance of mother-daughter wounds, the dangerous comfort of an intoxicating relationship, and the path toward autonomy, artistry, and emotional truth.
